Candice Fedy, MA-candidate, RP-Q
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) Practicum Student
Candice has over 15 years of experience working with communication disorders, learning strategy, and behaviour intervention. During her time as a Communication Disorders Assistant and ABA Therapist, she supported many children and their caregivers in hospital, home, and community settings. She enjoyed being able to work with both youth and adults to build skills, and has always found herself drawn to roles that allow her to explore the art of teaching. Candice takes an eclectic approach to intervention, integrating various evidence-based theories to support individuals on their learning and healing journey. She is excited to bring her personalized approach to psychotherapy, and strives to provide compassionate, person-centred care.
Candice completed her Bachelor of Communication and Conflict Studies, a graduate certificate in Communication Disorders, and a graduate certificate in Applied Learning Disability Studies. Candice is completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. She is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
Candice provides psychotherapy services, as part of her MACP practicum at Yorkville University, under the supervision of our psychotherapy team. She is currently offering low-cost therapy sessions from May to December 2024.
