Each of our team members brings a set of unique skills and passion for the work we do.
Training and continued professional development play a key role in ensuring we are working together to develop creative, effective programming.

On any given day, you can find our Senior Clinical Team completing a variety of tasks that allow us to apply the science of behaviour to improve not only the lives of the families we support, but also to help our team operate at it's best.
Sophia, M.ADS, BCBA, R.B.A. (Ont)
Director, Registered Behaviour Analyst
Sophia has always known that her career would involve helping and working with children. ABA has proven to be the perfect avenue. She has worked with children and young adults of all ages, with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other exceptionalities. Her experiences have spanned across a variety of settings, including home and centre-based programs, school consultations, community and vocational support, and adult day programs.
Sophia started Best Behaviour Inc. in 2018, with the goal of using the science of behaviour to do good. She has been lucky enough to surround herself with a team of dedicated professionals who have the same goal in mind, and continues to be inspired by her team and the families they support.
Sophia completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Neuroscience, and Behaviour, her Master of Applied Disability Studies with a specialization in Applied Behaviour Analysis, and is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst. She is a Registered Behaviour Analyst (Authorizing Autonomous Practice) with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO). She is also an approved OAP Clinical Supervisor of Behavioural Services.
Sophia oversees all operations and services at Best Behaviour. She also provides BCBA supervision.
Natasha, M.Sc, BCBA, R.B.A. (Ont)
Assistant Director, Registered Behaviour Analyst
Natasha has experience working with clients ranging from ages 2 to 25 in home, school, and community settings. Natasha's advocacy for client and family needs make her an asset to any team. Her attention to detail allows her to closely monitor client progress and ensure maximum gains are being made. She is especially interested in using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to increase the effectiveness of programming and training.
Natasha completed her Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences, Master of Science in Family Relations and Human Development, a post-graduate course sequence in Applied Behaviour Analysis, and is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst. She is a Registered Behaviour Analyst (Authorizing Autonomous Practice) with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO). She is also an approved OAP Clinical Supervisor of Behavioural Services.
Natasha was one of our first senior team members, and has been a part of Best Behaviour since it began in 2018. In her current role, she assists with a variety of operational tasks that allow Best Behaviour to run efficiently and offer effective, quality services. She provides clinical consultation for all of our home and centre-based ABA services. She also provides BCBA supervision.
Quinlan, MA, BCBA, R.B.A. (Ont)
Registered Behaviour Analyst
Quinlan has worked with children and youth in both home and centre-based settings, as well as adults with complex challenging behaviour in residential environments. She has spent the past few years conducting research focused on caregiver training and the use of the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS). Quinlan is passionate about developing meaningful, individualized programming that enhances the quality of life of the individuals and families she supports.
Quinlan completed her Bachelor of Health Sciences with a specialization in child health, Master of Arts in Applied Disability Studies with a specialization in Applied Behaviour Analysis, and is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst. She is a Registered Behaviour Analyst (Authorizing Autonomous Practice) with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO).
Quinlan joined our senior team in 2025. She provides supervision for our centre-based services in Waterloo. This includes assessments and service planning, direct client supervision, indirect supervision tasks, family/caregiver training and parent coaching/consultations, and team member training for the Instructor Therapists she supervises.
Ruxy, M.ADS, BCBA, R.B.A. (Ont)
Registered Behaviour Analyst
Growing up with first-hand experience of caring for loved ones with developmental disabilities is what inspired Ruxy to want to help other families overcome the challenges associated with it. While completing her undergraduate studies, she was drawn to ABA as a way to achieve this. Since then, she has worked with a wide variety of clients, from infants to young adults in centre, home, and community settings. Her favourite thing when meeting a new client is to see what improvements can be made to better their quality of life and expand their scope of learning.

Sydney, M.ADS, BCBA, R.B.A. (Ont)
Registered Behaviour Analyst
Sydney has experience working with youth and adults in home and community settings. She was first introduced to the field of ABA while working with children with developmental disabilities in recreational programs. She enjoys working towards meaningful and individualized goals that improve the quality of life of the clients and families that she works with.

Sydney joined our team as an Instructor Therapist in 2021. She now provides supervision for our centre-based services in Waterloo. This includes assessments and service planning, direct client supervision, indirect supervision tasks, family/caregiver training and parent coaching/consultations, and team member training for the Instructor Therapists she supervises.
Clinical Support
Our dedicated team of supervised Instructor Therapists work under the supervision of our Registered Behaviour Analysts. The Instructor Therapists deliver individualized interventions with each of our learners receiving one-to-one and group ABA Therapy. They may also assist with some indirect tasks, such as preparing or gathering materials to support these interventions. They collect data, which allows our RBAs to monitor client skills/progress and the effectiveness of therapy, and provide invaluable insight about each learner's unique needs and strengths.
Ashley, BA
Instructor Therapist
Ashley has been working with children with complex needs for over 10 years. She has experience working in various therapeutic and educational roles, including child and youth worker, educational assistant, and early childhood educator. She has also provided ABA therapy in home and centre-based environments. Ashley enjoys watching her clients reach there full potential by setting new goals that are meaningful to themselves and their families. Ashley completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She also completed the 40-hour Registered Behaviour Technician training. Ashley joined our centre team in Waterloo as an Instructor Therapist in 2021.
Ciara, BA
Instructor Therapist
Ciara has explored various roles in home healthcare and community support, working closely with children and adults with a variety of disability and health needs. Ciara has a deep interest in brain-behaviour relationships and cognitive neuroscience. She was drawn to the field of ABA because of its emphasis on evidence-based practice, and combining clinical work with neuroscience-informed approaches to care. She is excited to continue learning about ABA and grow in the field. Ciara completed her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work, and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She is also working on completing her Registered Behaviour Technician training. Ciara joined our centre team in Waterloo as an Instructor Therapist in 2025.
Emma, BA
Instructor Therapist
Emma has worked closely with children, adolescents, and young adults with a variety of developmental disabilities and exceptionalities. She has worked with individuals in both home and community/clinic-based settings, in vocational and therapeutic support roles. Emma was drawn to the fields of speech and language, and ABA, after seeing how therapy can help individuals learn new skills and build independence. Her prior experience as a family and child respite worker, early childhood educator, and tutor, has shown her how important it is to teach skills that are going to benefit someone across all parts of their day (home, school, recreation etc.). She is excited to learn more about how to use ABA to teach all kinds of skills, in a fun and naturalistic way! Emma completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a research-intensive specialization. She also completed the 40-hour Registered Behaviour Technician training. Emma joined our centre team in Waterloo as an Instructor Therapist in 2025.
Meagan
Instructor Therapist
Meagan has spent time supporting youth in community and education settings, as a Child and Youth Worker and Educational Assistant. This has allowed her to work with many children of different abilities and skills. She enjoyed this so much that she began to work in the field of ABA to shift her focus to helping children in a therapeutic role. Meagan understands the importance of taking an individualized approach when it comes to teaching new skills and teaching coping strategies, and works hard to incorporate variety, creativity and learner preference in her sessions. Meagan completed her Advanced Diploma in Child and Youth Care. She also completed the 40-hour Registered Behaviour Technician training. Meagan joined our centre team in Waterloo as an Instructor Therapist in 2023.
Tara, BA-candidate
Instructor Therapist
Tara is passionate about working with children. During her time working in childcare, she felt drawn to professions that would allow her to help children learn and grow, and is looking forward to learning about how she can do that with ABA! Tara recognizes the importance of individualized approaches and working towards meaningful goals for each client. She is committed to creating a safe and positive environment, to foster learning and build connections with each of her clients. Tara is completing the last semester of her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She is also working on completing her Registered Behaviour Technician training. Tara joined our centre team in Waterloo as an Instructor Therapist in 2025.
